In this role, you’ll leverage all that hands-on experience in your background and put it to good use helping us to support our customers and gain new ones while leading the charge in this area as your work helps to support the industry’s best sales team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assemble, build, measure, cut, crimp, and test industrial hoses
- Operate various cutting and machining tools such as saws, grinders, shears, crimpers, etc
- Inspect and test product
- Document non-conformances
- Receiving and shipping all materials and products in an accurate and timely manner
- Sort material, stock shelves, pick orders, package and label materials
- Pick and prepare sales orders for outbound shipment
- Utilize and manage bin locations
- Organize and maintain all applicable records and files
- Maintain up to date knowledge of the company’s service offerings
- Take personal responsibility for and actively engage in product, systems and skill training and development
Preference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Experience in shipping and receiving; preferably within an industrial distribution setting
- Mechanically inclined coupled with a strong working ethic
- Prior experience operating forklifts
- Customer service driven
- Detail oriented
- Motivated and willing to learn
- Proficient computer skills
- Basic mathematical aptitude
- Self-motivated and organized
- Can work independently or in a team environment
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment; work under pressure; attention to detail; repetitive tasks; bending, crouching, kneeling. Able to lift and carry heavy parts of up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
