We are looking for a Accounting Analyst to join the organization on a 12-18 month term contract.
Role description
Reporting to the Director, Wealth Management Financial Reporting, this role is responsible for the financial reporting of the Individual Wealth line of business, including the maintenance of financial information, reporting models, management reports, and the analysis of long-term trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monthly and quarterly Wealth Management financial reporting and earnings analysis, including the preparation of data for presentations to the Board
- Design and implementation of improved management information to help Individual Customer achieve its business objectives
- Weekly Customized Asset Liability Management reporting
- Maintenance and development of financial models and data sources with strong internal financial controls
- Support of the implementation of IFRS 17
Qualifications:
- University degree in an area such as Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics
Recently qualified or working towards a professional accounting designation
Strong financial background with past financial reporting experience * Commitment to excellence of processes – ability to identify opportunities and execute plans of action to improve efficiencies
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP
- Knowledge of the Wealth Management line of business is an asset
