1. Accounts Receivable Management

• Associate the delivery note with the invoice
• Creation of customer file in the system
• Verification of invoices in the accounting system
• Enter payments received in the accounting system

2. Management of accounts payable

• Associate the shipping slip with the invoice
• Creation of a supplier record in the system
• Verification of invoices in the accounting system
• Make payments via Wire, EFT or check
• Manage requests from different suppliers via phone or email
• Make the payment of expenses to employees
• Make fixed payments each month (example: rent, hydro, Gaz métro, Telus, etc.)

3. Payroll

• Generate the weekly payroll of 50-60 employees in the accounting system
• Manage requests from different employees
• Help the accounting department to produce T4 and RL-1
• Keep the information file up to date in the system

4. Credit cards

• Verification of credit card account statements.
• Make prepayments by completing the forms transmitted by the purchases and making the payment via Wire, credit card or EFT

5. Banking Reconciliation

• Reconcile the different Canadian-CAD and American-USD accounts
• Entries of missing transactions relying on the statement of account
• Investigate bank or PAA for unknown transactions

6. Close of months

• Journal entries to close the months.
• Maintain records of amortization, prepaid expenses and customer deposits
• Make journal entries for debt accounts on the Balance Sheet
• Make them enter the line of credit
• Inventory entry and tax installment
• All other closing transactions.
• Postings of adjustments and reversals

7. Exchange rate

• Enter the CAD and USD exchange rate on a daily basis
• Convert USD balance sheet at current rate

8. Respond to various requests in accounting emails and by phone
9. Support the annual financial statement audit process
10. Reconcile data between the ERP system and the accounting system

Profile description:

Criteria:
3-5 years of experience in cost accounting
Certificate in Accounting or BAC in Accounting
Knowledge of the complete accounting cycle
Knowledge of Sage 50 and Quantum software is an advantage
Good oral and written communication in English and French
Mastery of Microsoft Suite: Excel, outlook.
