Job title: Accounting Clerk
Job description: David Aplin Group, one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit for an Accounting Clerk for an immediate temporary opportunity, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The Role:
- Accounts receivable via phone and email
- Accounts payable statement reconciliation
- Review and update vendor invoice statements
- Prepare invoices in QuickBooks, and Excel
- Prepare special cheque requests
- Key and copy coding corrections
- Various duties as assigned by the accounting department
The Ideal Candidate:
- Post secondary education in Accounting is an asset
- Two plus years of experience working as an Accounting Clerk
- Strong experience with reconciliation is required
- Experience with QuickBooks software is preferred
- Intermediate to Advanced working experience in Excel
- Must have access to your own transportation for this role
