Affinity is looking for someone organized and with great attention to detail to fill the role of Accounting & Finance Officer. This person will play a supportive role using their accounting skillset to ensure the work units day-to-day operations run efficiently.

What youll do:
– Identify and report issues arising from regular reconciliations and tasks
– Review, analyze and validate accounts payable and expense claim submissions
– Maintain internal systems by developing and documenting procedures and retention of payments history
– Collaborate with other business units to provide solutions to accounting tasks and reconciliations affecting members

What youve got:
– A high School diploma, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
– Completion of a university level Financial Accounting course with intermediate knowledge and experience in accounting standards and principles and applying them in business.
– Working knowledge of accounting software programs, e.g., Accpac, QuickBooks
