Job description: Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, Accounting Tax Clerk position for a accounting firm located in Saint John, NB. The ideal candidate would possess more than one year of working experience in the income tax world. • Location: Saint John, NB
• Shift: Monday- Friday 8:00 – 4:30 PM
• Employment type: Full-time | Temporary to permanent

Responsibilities: * Execute tax clerical duties to the tax professionals.

• Answer and respond to client inquiries on tax their problems.
• Prepare tax returns
• Provide clerical support to the tax team.
• Maintain and organize tax files, records and statements of clients.
• Assess and review tax data and information while preparing tax returns.
• Adhere to the established practices of client confidentiality.

Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent experience, college degree is preferred

• 1-2 years’ income tax experience, accounting experience an asset
• Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
• Excellent numerical, organization and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable and experience working with technology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools – Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business correspondence
