Job title: Accounting Technician

Job description: Provide bookkeeping services for SMB using various software programs (Sage, Quickbooks, CaseWare)
Prepare payrolls and monthly DAS reports
Prepare GST/TVQ reports
Prepare year end tax slips (T4, Relevé 1, T4A, T5, Relevé 3, Relevé 24)
Prepare personal tax declarations using DT Max
Complete year end files and prepare compilation engagement financial statements

Requirements

  • Essential – Experience in accounting (3 years)
  • Important – Experience in income taxes (2 years)

Knowledge and abilities

  • Essential – Familiarity with accounting software
