We are currently looking for an exceptional Administrative Assistant to support a busy downtown Vancouver office. The successful candidate will have 5+ years’ administrative experience in an office environment to effectively support teams locally and across Canada.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Administrative Assistant, we’ll count on you to:

· Provide reception duties, answering and directing telephone calls, delivering messages, greeting employees and visitors, sending couriers, and distributing incoming mail

· Coordinate and manage meeting facilities and arrangements

· Type, revise and combine materials such as correspondence, reports, forms, and meeting minutes using MSWord

· Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format

· Complete word processing as needed, including formatting letters, memos, reports, and labels

· Create and maintain digital filing system

· Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

· 5+ years of administrative experience in an office environment

· A can-do positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

· Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented

· Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills

· Ability to work under pressure in a team environment with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Outlook

· Ability to handle confidential information

· Associate degree preferred

· Required to work daily from the downtown Vancouver office

Assets to this Role

· Proficiency in Cisco Webex and MSTeams

· Current Joint Health & Safety certificate

· Current First Aid / CPR certificate
