Is this challenge for you?
As a member of the STARS administration team, you will be responsible for the provision of administrative support to the operational teams. This role will provide a link between STARS team members, outside agencies and the communities we serve. You will be responsible for complex administrative assignments including the handling of confidential documents, report generation and critical data gathering requiring discretion, integrity and accuracy. You live in Edmonton, or are willing to relocate to Edmonton.
Do you have what it takes?
In your present or previous position(s) others see you as an exceptional communicator with attention to detail and you bring proven experience preparing documents and reports. You have coordinated meetings, supported scheduling, budget and payroll, and have booked travel.
You are a multi-tasker with an ability to organize and prioritize the work of various departments with ease. Your work is highly accurate, and you have excellent interpersonal skills along with a track record of delivering work within established timelines.
Who are you?
- You will be a self-confident, proactive individual who is a highly knowledgeable administrator with three to five years of experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- You pride yourself in your ability to be calm, detailed oriented and well organized.
- In your previous experience, you have initiated, prepared, edited and proofed correspondence.
- You have handled meeting logistics, travel arrangements, minutes, budget assistance and payroll coordination and expenses which are all part of your repertoire.
- You are highly motivated, enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are a competent multi-tasker with the ability to delegate and influence projects.
- You demonstrate flexibility to meet the changing priorities of the role, while maintaining focus and delivering results.
- You have the ability to work independently and collaboratively on a wide variety of tasks within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- You are proficient with Microsoft Office Products, at an advanced level, to include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, and Visio. Experience within healthcare is considered an asset.
