Job description: We are currently looking for an administrative coordinator to support the purchasing department for their ever-growing organization in Dorval. This company puts a high focus on their customers throughout the Canadian market. They are one of the leader in the industry in industrial equipment. The role will consist of various tasks that is listed below along with other tasks that you will be required to do.

Salary 55,000$-60,000$ + Company performance Bonus
3 weeks vacation (1 week closed at Christmas) (must take vacation during construction holiday)
Hybrid /Office and Home (3 days from home and 2 days in office) (after training period)
5 sick days

Responsibilities
Maintain relationship with suppliers
Negotiate terms when needed
Making sure products are well taken care of
Being able to analyze numbers and communicate with upper management
Dealing with stock and turnaround times in coordination to the sales team.
Places orders and when to order certain products
Internal management of certain accounts for the Technical Product
Prepare purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and to departments originating requests.
Determine if inventory quantities are sufficient for needs, ordering more materials when necessary.
Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.
Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers.
Qualifications
At least 2-5 year experience in a similar role
Experience as an administrative coordinator or purchasing clerk
Experience in distribution – An asset
Experience in the wire & cable industry – An asset
Bilingual (English and French) (Spoken/Written)
Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, Powerpointe, One Note)
Being able to multitask in a fast environment
Good attitude, open minded, team spirit and communication
