Job description: Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager or Designate for Rural West Central Zone Community Addiction & Mental Health, you will provide administrative support to the Addiction and Mental Health staff as well as physicians at the Rimbey Addiction & Mental Health Clinic. In this role, your duties will include reception, appointment scheduling, security and confidentiality of information and word processing from dictated and/or written case notes, assessments and correspondence. Your responsibilities will also include data entry, file system maintenance, records management and/or other related duties as required.

As an Administrative Support III, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Office Administration education: Minimum certificate. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Addictions and Mental Health required. The successful candidate must be proficient with and have advanced skill and knowledge in the Microsoft Office Suite and in the use of transcribing machines; as well as being experienced with recording minutes. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, tact and good judgment to deal effectively with the public. You are a team player with excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle confidential material and demonstrate the strong organizational skills necessary to work in a busy office environment. You possess the willingness and ability to adapt to new situations and the ability to learn specialized software applications. An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references. Knowledge of ASIST and Connect Care databases would be of significant benefit. Possession of non-Graduated Driver’s License (non-GDL) and access to a reliable personal vehicle is required. Preferred Qualifications:
Community Addiction and Mental Health experience would be an asset. Office Administration education, Diploma preferred.
