Title: Bilingual (French) Accounting Clerk
Location: Laval, QC
Length of Assignment: Temporary – Permanent
Salary: $20.00-$23.00 hour
Job Responsibilities :
- Banking
- Entering of deposits
- Invoice coding / matching / entering / filing
- Handling of Subcontractor account inquiries
- Cash disbursements
- Bank reconciliation
- General journal entries / preparation
- Journal and register filing
- General computer activities – data entry / printing
- General ledger analysis
- Maintain accounting files
- Year-end account analysis
- Standard cost calculation and understanding
- General ledger account reconciliation
- Assist the CFO in budget and month end reports
- Comply with all applicable company policies and procedures
- Performs any other miscellaneous task, as required
- Assisiting with payroll
Qualifications:
- College Diploma in either business finance, or accounting.
- ERP experience
- MS Office experience and skills required (in particular Outlook, Excel)
- Good interpersonal skills, exceptional communication skills in verbal and written forms (bilingual is a must)
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks from team members
- Excellent time management skills, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Ability to learn new skills and train others
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Previous experience working in manufacturing industry is a plus
