Our client is an established and growing company in the healthcare space and is looking to add to their finance team. Reporting to the Director – Finance Systems, the Business Analyst – Finance Systems will be responsible for processing and analyzing of financial data, driving financial performance and ensure financial compliance with government funding regulations.
The successful candidate will bring critical thinking, a strong attention to detail and a desire to “dig in” to learn the business while being mindful of the strong culture and commitment of the company to provide the best care possible for their patients and residents across Canada.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst Finance Systems:
- Responsible for month-end close by performing administrative functions in Workday
- Assist users in problem-solving on Workday related issues
- Create finance reports and dashboards in Workday and/or Power BI
- Streamline financial processes by providing automation solutions
- Involve in project implementations related to Finance systems
- Complete other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or Accounting or CPA
- 3-5+ years experience in operations finance and/or accounting related role with process automation or improvement experience
- 3-5+ years experience in working with database and analyze large datasets either with Microsoft Excel, or other database applications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask in a dynamic and fast pace environment
- Excellent organizational, computer and analytical skills; advanced working knowledge of Excel, VBA, SQL, and Power BI DAX
- Experience with large-scale Enterprise Reporting systems, knowledge of Workday preferred
