Your contribution!

Reporting to the Senior Director – IT, the incumbent will be responsible for analyzing, designing, documenting, and recommending solutions for business processes based on market best practices. He/she will have to understand the requirements of the company and internal customers. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the evolution of the IT systems.

Your day-to-day!

  • Responsible for understanding the business needs of internal customers and transforming them into technical solutions;
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications;
  • Propose best business practices and identify value-added solutions to internal customers;
  • Participate in the analysis, design, documentation and implementation phases of computerization solutions and digitalization projects;
  • Responsible for the evolution of systems, i.e. managing change requests and evolution cycles by establishing project plans, schedules, cost estimates, and defining business specifications;
  • Document key business processes in the form of user requirements and software specifications;
  • Evaluate data conversion strategies, develop and execute data conversion plans to migrate to new applications. Assist end users in developing training plans;
  • Maintain system documentation for security and access management in accordance with regulatory requirements;
  • Manage assigned projects and initiatives;
  • Support users in best practices for using the systems.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • College or university degree or equivalent experience;
  • Studies in administration or accounting, an asset;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in IT development or in a similar position;
  • Training or certification in project management is an asset;
  • Experience with solutions, applications and ERP modules specifically related to accounting: general ledger, chart of accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, internal controls and SOX;
  • Experience with systems and applications integrated with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system;
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of integrated enterprise systems (ERP – SAP/Oracle)
  • Understanding of the IT systems development lifecycle;
  • Experience in ERP implementation projects and/or project management – both traditional and agile approaches an asset;
  • Knowledge of a ticketing tool is an asset (e.g. Jira);
  • Experience working with accounting and finance teams an asset;
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English), both verbal and written knowledge of Spanish an asset.
