The BC Prosecution Service (BCPS) contributes to the protection of society by preparing for and conducting prosecutions and appeals in all levels of courts independently, fairly, and effectively and by striving to develop the most effective methods to administer criminal justice in the province.
Working at BCPS Headquarters, this position provides technical records advice to various members of the BCPS, including Records Clerks, and ensures that established records systems are in compliance with legislative and policy requirements. This position also provides financial support services.
The ideal candidate for this position will be organized with a strong eye for detail.This role requires an ability to work collaboratively and effectively with senior executive, Crown Counsel, Paralegals, and administrative staff from across the province. In addition, the ability to use tact, diplomacy, discretion and good judgment are critical, particularly when dealing with confidential materials.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent.
- Preference may be given to candidates with a certificate in office administration or equivalent.
- Experience working in records management. Preference may be given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience.
- Experience working in an office setting.
- Experience working in a confidential capacity, including maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information and materials.
