Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Yukon EMS Clinical Educator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering continuing medical education to Yukon EMS staff including remedial education in specific areas. The Clinical Educator facilitates scenario based learning opportunities for staff and volunteers including the design and facilitated delivery of the educational components required for the introduction of new equipment, clinical policies, clinical guidelines (etc.).

Essential Qualifications

  • Successful completion of a critical care program
  • Valid Advanced Care or Critical Care Paramedic licence (Clinical Care Nurse Educator will be considered)
  • Experience facilitating Heart and Stroke adult education sessions
  • Experience working with various health related stakeholders
  • Pediatric Neonatal Critical Care Transport (PNCCT) Infant Transport Team (ITT) certification, PICU or NICU experience would be considered an asset

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.
