Job Summary:
Toyota Canada Inc. currently has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Pricing Project Consultant to support our Finance and Accounting team. This is a contract role. The purpose of the role is to work with the project lead to understand vehicle pricing processes, system tools and interface, and system errors and operational requirements.

What’s the Scope?
Financial data is recorded and reported accurately in accordance with appropriate accounting standards
Business units have meaningful and relevant information on hand to support effective decision making
What You’ll Be Doing:
Functional Responsibilities:
Understanding of systems, processes and controls over financial information
Perform research and analysis towards project requirements
Work with IS to understand system errors due to pricing and come up with recommendations
Communication with internal and external customers
Role Specific:
Gain comprehensive understanding of pricing components to identify, map and detail all relevant conditions. This entails testing, tracing and mapping across system entries, inventory, AP and GRIR impacts.
Detect adequate and consistent source of information for the pricing conditions and create processes to gather, corroborate and translate that information to usable format via system enhancements and development.
Work with IS to develop relevant system tools for upload of pricing conditions and enhance existing tools.
Improve existing price query alerts and create more robust checks for timely identification of upcoming and/or missing pricing conditions.
Draft fully detailed SOPs encompassing knowledge gained via each stage of the project and above listed tasks with clear recognition and communication of responsibilities to relevant parties.
Gather, compile and upload pricing conditions to ensure accuracy and completion of vehicle purchase / inventory pricing. Coordinate with relevant departments and business partners to guarantee timely input of data as per the existing requirements.
Determine root cause of price discrepancies and/or system errors and provide solutions to eliminate future variances
Serve as SME on vehicle pricing; educate business partners and RLP on appropriate pricing conditions and system behaviours
What You Bring:
Required:
University/college degree in Business/Accounting
Experience partnering with business units
Demonstrated success in achieving goals in a timely manner
2-3 years accounting experience
Highly motivated individual who is a self-starter, quick learner, organized, logical thinker, customer focused and likes challenges
ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, TEAM)
Competencies Required:
