Ovintiv’s Canadian Operations team in Dawson Creek, BC has an exciting opportunity for a full time Contract Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will provide administrative support as well as being responsible for a variety of coordination and analytical responsibilities.
The successful candidate will deliver a high level of service with an agile approach, requiring skill in multi-tasking and a strong organizational, time management and communication skills.
This opportunity will appeal to an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced dynamic work environment and is adaptable in an environment with frequent change.
Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day administrative support for production coordinators and operational staff.
Verify and Process invoices through Open Ticket, open invoice and track cost on a regular basis.
Verification of water tickets for all trucking in/out of facilities.
Manage the operational fleet vehicles, new hires and transferring of employees.
Assist in reception requirements when needed.
Review/Scrutinize truck tickets – Ability to function within Engage.
Turnaround vendor interface.
Support programs; Manage inventories, set up new users, and provided quality control for staff and business.
Qualifications
Two or more years of experience in a similar role and environment.
Self-motivated and passionate self-starter, who is positive and independent.
Flexible with a collaborative work style.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Site View and Outlook.
Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Passionate desire for continuous improvement.
