We have an immediate opening for a Corporate Accounting Clerk in our Delta Office.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for full Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions including, but not limited to:
- Client invoicing
- Receivables charging, collection, recording and processing
- Bank depositing
- Invoice coding for payments
- Payables entering
- Cheque preparation
- Revenue collection reconciliation & chargeback process
- Form / documentation fees processing via applicable platforms
- Government remittances processing
- Monthly client / owner funds distribution review
Additional Duties:
- Provide backup support to the management fee process as needed
- Yardi software database information updates
- Journal Entry recording
- Mail collection and filing
- Various other duties as required
Job Requirements
- Three (3) years Accounting Clerk experience or relevant alternate experience
- Minimum one (1) year’s post-secondary accounting education
- Minimum Intermediate MS Excel score
- Willingness to sign a Confidentiality Agreement
- Yardi software proficiency and property management industry experience are definite assets
- High detail orientation
- Superior organizational skills
- Comfort in a fast paced, deadline oriented work environment
- Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
