The opportunity
The Director of Finance is responsible to manage and oversee all accounting and finance functions for TVO. The Director of Finance is responsible for the systems and processes recording financial information from planning and budgeting through to the analysis and reporting of results.
How you will make an impact
- Take the operational lead of an ongoing finance system replacement project, including automation for process improvement
- Be the primary technical accounting and finance expert for the organization.
- Lead a team of 8 accountants
- Deliver on all finance functional areas:
- Accounting
- Reporting
- Analysis
- Financial compliance reporting
- Procurement
- Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices
- Other related duties as assigned
What you will bring to TVO
- You have a CPA designation and over 10 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior leadership role.
- You are a proven team manager with great customer service skills.
- You are a collaborative leader and can train your team to acquire and hone needed skills.
- You enjoy working with people and technology, and in leading process improvements using KPI’s.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- You bring a sense of curiosity and a growth mindset.
