Director, IT Audit
Reporting to the Vice President, Audit & Risk, the Director is responsible for managing the IT Audit portfolio within Internal Audit Services (IAS). That responsibility includes fulfilling the mandate of the IAS function: annual planning for all IT audits, execution of IT audits, supporting non-IT audits with IT audit expertise as needed, and managing the ITGC testing work, all in conformance with the International Professional Practices Framework of the Institute of Internal Auditors. It also includes working with senior management and Audit Committee The role is also responsible for managing the IT audit staffing load, including managing 3rd party co-source arrangements for IT audit work.

About the Role
- Annual / ongoing preparation and maintenance of a risk-based IT audit plan for inclusion in the overall Internal Audit Plan that is approved by the Audit Committee.
- Execute the IT Audit portion of the Audit Plan as approved by the Audit Committee d within the agreed upon scope and timelines:
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with senior management and the Audit Committee.
- Develop and maintain a solid understanding of all aspects of LCBO business areas/divisions.
- Foster collaboration between IAS IT Audit and the LCBO divisions.
- Carry out all audit work in conformance with the IIA Standards for Professional Practice
- Prepare the IT Audit portion of the annual business plan for IAS (staffing, training, technology, KPI’s).
- Manage the IT Audit staffing (including co-sourcing arrangements), performance management, coaching, mentoring, and support the budget preparation and tracking.
About You
- University Degree (4-year degree preferred)
- Professional Designation, CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent,
- 10+ years in a leadership role in a comparable size organization
- 10+ years in IT internal audit
- IT control frameworks (COBIT, NIST, etc.)
- Use of data analytics
- Audit software – TeamMate or other
- MS suite of applications, including Visio.
- Coaching and mentoring staff
