Our client represents an impressive roster of talented artists throughout North America, has recently executed on impressive events and continues to be a leader in their space.
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Finance is a key driver of the organizations success, and the role is open due to internal growth and succession. The successful candidate will oversee a dynamic accounting and human resources team, and will join the senior leadership team and will be responsible for all accounting and finance in the various groups of companies under their umbrella. This is an incredible opportunity for a finance professional who has a passion for the arts & entertainment, enjoys working in a fast-paced industry, and who is seeking a seat with impact where they can add value.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and present financial statements, budgets and reports for various divisions in this group of companies
- Lead a group of engaged finance and HR professionals
- Review and analyze operations as well as determine potential business opportunities
- Develop, enhance and maintain internal controls and cash flow management
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team
What You Bring
- 5+ years of senior financial and leadership experience, with a focus on project accounting.
- CPA designation is an asset.
- Experience working in the entertainment industry is an asset
- Taxation and Jurisdiction skills, knowledge and experience.
- Experience with auditing process, payment processes and financial reporting.
