Looking to use your finance skills within an entrepreneurial and dynamic team?
Our client, a large, reputable company operating for more than 45 years in the international hotel industry located in Laval is looking to replace the Director of Finance following his retirement. This opportunity would be ideal if you are looking to work with the President and join their strategic team.
In this role, you will be responsible for investing and financing, business models, hedging and cash management, as well as approving international tax reports.
Tasks:
– Provide analytical support to financing solutions
– Manage cash flow and investment returns
– Review all international tax reporting with CPA firm
– Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for executives, investors and bankers
– Review financial compliance reports required for the different financial agreements
– Prepare multiple reports for internal committees which cover the treasury activities
– Manage investment reports and analyses, and recommend solutions
– Assist the President in all other tasks
What you need to succeed in this role:
– At least 10 years of relevant experience in finance, treasury analysis and real estate
– MBA/CFA and or CPA
– Excellent bilingualism (French/English), both spoken and written
– Ability to travel to the Caribbean
– Leadership skills, autonomy and motivation
– Solid analytical skills with a detail-oriented attitude ad strong entrepreneurial skills
– Initiative and good judgement, ability to work with precision in tight deadlines
– Dynamism and professionalism
