Job description: Our client is a leader and innovator in the design, engineering and manufacturing industry. The Director, Global Finance Operations is responsible for leading the global Finance team, implementing common systems and workflows and driving efficiencies across legal entities.

About the Opportunity
- Manage global team of Finance Directors and Controllers in Canada, US, UK, India, China, Brazil including recruitment, coaching and training
- Develop centres of excellence for centralizing and streamlining routine and repeatable finance transactions
- Manage annual process for performance evaluation, training and development, and salary administration
- Develop succession plan for legal entity finance leadership
- Develop consistency in policy and process across the accounting, costing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and administration functions globally
- Drive efficiencies in routine processes by maximizing ERP functionality and implementing workflows
- Ensure robust controls over intercompany transactions with monthly reconciliation
- Develop consistent approach to month end closing and reporting of financial results
- Oversee legal compliance and internal control procedures and reporting of these elements across legal entities
- Manage the annual audit and preparation of Legal entity financial statements
- Manage capital expenditures to approved levels
- Develop consistent processes across the company to support business decision making
- Work with Operations leadership to actively identify and pursue reductions in manufacturing variances
- Work with product development teams to support pricing and costing initiatives
- Work with Global leader FP&A, utilize reporting tools to deliver accurate, timely information for decision making to local business leadership
About You
- CPA
- Experience working in a large ($500 million +), global business/ multi location with multi-currency
- Manufacturing industry experience
Salary Range
$160,000 – $200,000/year
