*We are offering a fulltime seasonal contract for this role for the holiday season, guaranteeing an average of 35hrs +/week until December, with the possibility to extend until January. Must be available evenings and weekends.*

Job Description
The Catering Driver & Porter is responsible for receiving products from the OB Caters Kitchen and delivering products to the appropriate offsite location/venue within Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area in a timely manner ensuring that all products are handled with care. Between events or deliveries, this role is also responsible in assisting in the set up / tear down of events and maintaining catering facilities and vehicles.
The Day to Day:
- Communicate with the Expeditor regarding delivery details
- Packages, receives and loads products onto the company vehicle in a safe and timely manner
- Safely deliver products via foot and/or vehicle while meeting deadlines
- Practice road rules and follow directions while driving the company vehicle
- Upon arriving safely at the location, unload and deliver products to on-site management
- Assist with the general day-to-day tasks as needed including the packing of offsite catering equipment for upcoming events
- Assist in the inventory of catering equipment and storage facilities
- Assist in the set up and tear down of events
- Follow Health & Safety regulations
- Additional duties as assigned or required
Qualifications
- Valid G Drivers License
- Must provide a positive drivers abstract/record
- Criminal check required
- Ability to lift 20kg with ease
- Ability to take direction and work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Ability to stand or drive for long periods
