Job title: Finance Administrator/Bookkeeper

Job description: Our client is looking for an all-star finance administrator to handle their company’s accounts. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping duties for the company. This includes entering vendor and expense invoices, invoicing customers, reconciling bank statements, payroll, and tax returns. You will assist in keeping their accounts and financials current on an ongoing basis.You should have advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting systems, including QuickBooks Online (QBO), project management skills, and a good eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential, as you will be communicating with clients and vendors. As the business continues to grow, there will be room for you to grow into a management position, where you could be leading the bookkeeping/accounting department.
*Responsibilities Will Include:** Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable* Reconciling bank accounts and petty cash accounts* General ledger reconciliations* Posting journal entries to ledger accounts* Payroll support* Issuing invoices to and collecting from customers* Collecting on aging accounts receivable* Assisting with month-end closings* Tracking fixed assets and preparing depreciation schedules* Tracking inventory* Tracking expenses from vendors and suppliers to help flag unusual variances* Reconciling reports to third-party records such as bank statements* Assisting with preparation of trial balances and financial statements* Assisting with tracking intercompany loans and transfers* Tracking credit card and line of credit balances* Preparing sales commissionsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, or based on an individual’s status in any group or class otherwise protected under applicable human rights legislation.
