About the Opportunity
Our client located in Borden Ontario requires the services of a Finance Clerk to assist during a period of increased workload.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Create, track, and finalize travel or other claim’s cost and compare to the most economical means
- Code, total, enter, verify, and reconcile transactions such as current and archived claims, cheques, and bank statements in a ledger or computer system or both.
- Provide general clerical support, including data entry and routing correspondence.
- Maintain bring-forward systems and virtual meetings on MS Teams
- Answer the telephone; operate telephone switching systems; and take messages.
- Perform document and file management functions, including e-filing.
- Photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents.
- Prepare reports and submit within mandated timelines.
- Provide weekly updates on progress.
About You
The successful candidates will have the following:
- Min. 1 year experience in the provision of financial support services, including processing claims for payment.
- Must understand generally accepted accounting principles.
- Experience inputting information into a financial management system
- Experience selecting, validating, and inputting information in computer system.
- Experience providing administrative and financial support services.
- Experience tracking documents and maintaining a file system
