Position Overview
The Finance Director position is in the Customer Service department reporting to the Canada’s CFO. This position will manage a team of 3 direct reports and will have People Leadership, Budgeting and Forecasting, and Business Support responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Finance Reporting & Analysis of Actuals, Forecast and Budget:
· Monitor Customer Service’s financial statements by leading the monthly analysis and revisions of our main KPIs (Orders, Revenue, Gross Profit, SG&A and Free Cash Flow). As well, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
· Lead on regular basis and with the assistance of your team the periodic forecasting and budgeting processes for Customer Service In-Vivo Business, for all main P&L/Balance KPIs, always focusing on enhancing our collaboration with NAM zone, and following their guidance to standardize our deliveries to their requirements.
· Monitoring financial metrics, in order to track progress toward established goals (Forecast & Budget agreed figures), allowing for timely adjustments and interventions to ensure that the company remains on track to achieve its targets.
· Together with Sales, support Customer Service’s pricing strategy, ensuring we have a competitive price and a healthy profitability over time, especially for long term contracts.
· Together with Operations, be the main driver for discussions on topics related to analysis of Under/Over or Over absorption of our Productive employees’ costs. This way, acting to review timely our results, and determining corrective actions to optimize resource utilization, cost expenditures and pricing strategies.
· Provide Local Management and NAM Zone with accurate and up-to-date financial information, enabling and participating in the process of decision-making, and at all times seeking for a great transparency of data.
· Work and respond to internal and external auditors’ inquiries and audits.
· In your business area, guide implementation and/or administration of Finance policies, guidelines, programs, and standards, within assigned organizational unit(s).
· Creating efficacy by working with IT to automate processes or lead the discussion for reports that will help the contract admin with their work.
· Ensure integrity of books and records during month- and quarter-end close (IFRS Reporting Standards).
People Leadership:
· Oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
· Hiring, training, providing support, coaching and career development to your team members.
· Review processes and account reconciliations prepared by the team and give them guidance, always looking for skill improvement on your team.
Business Support:
· Support Sales team on Terms & Conditions negotiations, approving customer prices that are outside of price lists, and any other matters impacting with the successful signoff from the customer of the maintenance contract.
· Approving Customer Price that are exception to the price lists for the team to generate a quote.
· Provide guidance on special terms in the negotiation that are unique to the customer.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- University Degree in Accounting or Business
- 8+ years of financial experience in a large matrixed company, and a least 3 years in a management or similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with process efficiancy implementation.
- Demonstrated experience with forecasting and results reporting.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
· Chartered Professional Accounting designation.
