Job title: Finance Officer

Job description: Robert Half is seeking a bilingual Finance Officer for one of our growing Non for Profit clients. This position is a full time/permanent role located in the central Ottawa area.
Responsibilities:

-Process the Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable

-Keep up to date on statutory payroll changes

-T4 and ROE preparation as required

-Verify invoice validity; Input tenant invoices based on leasing terms

-Enter bills; make payments to suppliers and investors

-Follow up with vendors if any discrepancies

-Prepare deposits; and prepare cheques for signature

-Bank and Credit Card reconciliation

-Prepare and monitor product profitability reports

-Input daily sales; Assist and enter inventory entries and adjustments

-Document bookkeeping & financial management process.

Qualifications:

-Post-secondary education in a Business and/or Accounting

-Proficient in MS Office Excel

-Self-starter, takes initiative and resourceful

-Willing and able to work independently

-Pleasant personality and enjoyable to work with

-Patient and confident and understands people in the non-office environment
