Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the Finance Supervisor is responsible to supervise, guide/train and assist a team of Finance Clerks in the daily operations of the Finance Unit. You will be familiar working in a finance environment. You will provide backup to the other Finance Supervisor. You should be able to work in a high energy office environment.
Qualifications Desired:

- Experience working in Finance and/or post-secondary education in Business/Accounting
- Supervisory experience
- Advance knowledge in Excel
- Worked on computerized accounting system
- Very good organizational and administrative skills
- Comfortable working with all levels of people in the organization/outside contacts
- Must be responsible and have the ability to encourage people and improve system and manual work flow processes
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets and deadlines
- Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities
- Good analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to speak in Ojibway and/or Cree is an asset.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- This position will not need to travel on a daily basis but must be willing and able to travel when requested.
- Must be able to provide a current criminal records check prior to employment.
- Must be aware of the cultural environment in which Tikinagan Child and Family Services operates.
- Successful Applicant will be required to provide verification of both COVID-19 vaccinations
