This is a Financial Analyst, Investment Finance role and will be responsible for the full cycle accounting of investment products and also to ensure the financial results of the public and fund investments reported accurately, and ensure investments recorded properly into the investment accounting system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and month end investment operations including trade booking /operation, funding, investment valuations, fee computation, and investment ledger reconciliations
• Perform period end accounting processes and financial reports to ensure all investments are accurately recorded within timely manner while maintaining financial data integrity
• Prepare audit working papers and any additional information required for year end reporting and for external auditors
• Coordinate with the Tax team on filing requirements, documentation and queries related to various tax compliance
• Prepare subsidiary financial statements and coordinate relevant documentation to support accounting processes
• Maintain and update internal Investment Finance operating procedures and accounting treatment papers for all types of investment assets to ensure that they are current and up to date

Job Requirements:

Must Have:

• Undergraduate or advanced degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or related field
• Professional designations ie CPA or CFA or at final stage of completion
• 7+ years relevant work experience in investment finance accounting or fund accounting at a pension fund or an investment service company
• Solid working knowledge of various investment products and an understanding of investment accounting standards, controls and reporting practices
• Strong ability to use automated reporting systems, MS Excel and other portfolio management applications
• Solid experience with Eagle Star/Pace, Yardi, Oracle or Simcorp Dimension would be an asset
• Demonstrated organizational skills to effectively balance multiple tasks and prioritize work
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Dynamic and has great enthusiasm to support team goals and organizational values of teamwork
