Job description:
We are looking for an experienced IT Financial Analyst to join our team, playing a key role in supporting all Financial aspects of Information Technology. The Analyst will assist in vendor negotiations, forecasts, and financial analysis for technology purchases, Software, Hardware, Software as a Service (SAAS) and IT Contract Services. This position also supports the financial reporting and analysis for overall IT spend, compiling data that helps IT leadership make operational and financial decisions.
Create operational and financial models, dashboards and management reports, as needed
Work in collaboration with the Procurement Team – Responsible for equipment, software, and telecommunications purchasing including managing purchase process, generating purchase orders, validating and approving invoices
Participate in collaborative efforts with various domains and service lines to drive improved communication, shared direction, and both control costs and eliminate unnecessary expenses
Oversee the financial management of IT activities including tracking expenses against budgets, and managing Capex spend
Assist with managing and forecasting software license counts
Processes & Training
Operationalize a process to regularly analyze all IT spend, ensuring correct categorization and attribution of data
Responsible for asset lifecycle management processes including tracking locations of equipment, equipment disposal, and management of maintenance agreements.
Profile description:
Knowledge of operational financial management processes and best practices such as: forecasts/budgeting, cost allocations, capital and operating expense handling
Strong financial acumen and data analytic skills
Strong Technical capabilities in order to effectively challenge status quo
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Initiative to identify opportunities and risks and find creative solutions
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to all levels of the company
Strong project management skills
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Strong ability to recommend solutions that will deliver improvement
Strong organizational, system orientation and project management skills
Advanced/Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills, particularly charts and graphs
Work experience: 3-4 years
