Job Description

Kinross is looking for a Computer Science or Engineering student to assist the IT Security Team during the summer of 2022

Job Responsibilities

• Support security enhancement projects
• Support the day-to-day IT Security operation. These include:

• Patch Management
• Vulnerability Management
• Access Management
• Malware Protection
• Assist server, networking, application, and client services teams to deploy systems in a secure manner
• Help the IT client services teams at all sites on deploying, maintaining and troubleshooting endpoint security tools and applications
• Troubleshooting Windows Operating system & Microsoft Office Suite

Education and Experience

• 2nd to 4th year student at an accredited college or university studying Computer Science or Engineering

Skills

• Very people friendly and open minded
• Able to work with all levels of corporate and regional users
• The ideal candidate will have experience providing client-side support and performing troubleshooting for security tools. The successful candidate will be interacting with all levels of management and as such, a high degree of professionalism is required.
