Job description: Our client is seeking a skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join their team. In this key role, you will be part of a great team supporting multiple business units in a Warehouse and corporate environment. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, personable and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Vancouver, B.C.
Pay Range: $80k to $100k per year
What’s the Job?
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of a warehouse environment and related practices, policy development & deployment, and data & document management
- Full-cycle recruitment initiatives including: partnering with hiring managers, creating and posting job ads, prescreening, interviewing, generating offer letters, employment agreements, onboarding and other related recruitment activities.
- Provide full support in functional areas of the Human Resources including drafting, maintaining, and updating records and training initiatives.
- Lead workplace investigations, present findings and create recommendations based on the findings to assist the resolution of any complaints.
- Monitor HR inboxes and respond to or route inquiries to the appropriate person; ensure follow up on all questions and work to resolve issues.
- Other related duties as required.
What’s Needed?
- Post-secondary graduate of a Human Resources, Business or relevant field.
- Must have 3-5 years of work experience in a human resources role working in a warehouse, manufacturing, food processing, or related industrial environment
- Thorough understanding of the Employment Standards Act of BC.
- Experience with other provincial legislation an asset.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be able to comfortable with commuting between two locations within greater Vancouver area, and occasional travel to Ontario.
