We are currently looking for an IT business analyst for one of our clients located on the south shore. This is a permanent position in a growing, ambitious company, already established internationally, in a human-sized, talented, collaborative and agile environment.
The company offers a competitive salary ($80,000 to $100,000 depending on experience), benefits (group insurance, retirement savings) and flexible working conditions (telecommuting). Within the product team, your missions will be :
Job description:
– Gathering requirements from the Product Owner
– Understand the needs, analyze them and synthesize them
– Break down the requirements into coherent work units (in US and EPIC)
– Write detailed functional specifications, define detailed business rules
– Negotiate the solution with the client and with the teams
– Present the need to the developers and take into account their constraints
– Provide ongoing functional support to the team (developers, testers, PO)
– Present the need and specifications to the testers
– Participate in the writing of acceptance criteria
– Analyze functionally the anomalies
Profile description:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other relevant training (broker, insurance, project management, management)
– Relevant experience in the insurance industry (essential)
– Knowledge of the personal insurance field, particularly in the areas of health, personal protection or loan insurance
– Excellent analytical and advisory skills
– Written and spoken French – Functional English
– Good knowledge of Agile methodology
– Good communication skills
Work experience: 5-7 years
