We are currently looking for an IT Director (Digital) to work for our client based on the south shore of Montreal.
Job description:
- Take charge of the planning, direction, and control of activities related to the maintenance/evolution of applications
- Support a team of eight developers and a few consultants depending on the projects
- Develop IT strategies in conjunction with company management
- Take charge of the coordination of IT services offered to producers/users in order to meet the needs
- Take charge of compliance with the information protection policy, data security, and good practices related to technologies
- Establish an emergency measures plan (mainly recovery plan) and ensure the tests necessary for the proper functioning of the applications
Profile description:
- Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of experience in IT including 4-5 in development team management
- Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies (.NET, C#)
- Experience in the agile methodology
- Strong political sense/ability to work in an environment with a board of directors
- Excellent communication, active listening, and forward-thinking
- Dynamic, easy to approach, with a good sense of customer service
- Functional English
Work experience: 5-7 years
