What you’ll do

It’s safe to say, there’s no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

• This position is accountable for managing the IT Finance and Fixed Asset department including overseeing development of budgets, forecasts, and reporting for TJX Canada

• Oversees the development of annual budgets (capital and expense), updates to forecast and reviewing and reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Facilitates regular budget reviews with Senior Leadership to communicate relevant information; identifies any risks, concerns and impacts to support budget submissions process
• Accountable for ensuring controls are adhered to for capital project approval, and the fixed asset sub-ledger is accurately updated and maintained
• Provides direction, advice and guidance to team members on day to day activities; provides feedback, mentors, trains

What you’ll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

• Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting or Business; with or working towards CPA designation
• Minimum three (3) years financial analysis experience and minimum two (2) years leadership experience in large organization
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; presentation skills
• People management skills including coaching, providing advice and guidance to associates in the resolution of problems; evaluating performance and providing feedback to team members
