Job Description:

Reporting to the Department Manager, Applications, the Project Leader ensures projects run smoothly, while maintaining clear communication with business units and the Information Technology team. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading, controlling and assessing the various project stages.

Roles and responsibilities

-Participate in preliminary project stages and feasibility studies.
-Manage the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
-Participate in project success criteria and share information with various stakeholders.
-Establish and monitor project schedules and budgets.
-Plan and lead project ceremonies and meetings.
-Prepare project follow-up reports.
-Ensure adequate resource allocation.
-Build, develop and cultivate solid relationships among various stakeholders.
-Coordinate testing and implementation activities.
-Follow up after implementation and ensure internal client satisfaction.
-Communicate possible practice adjustments and improvements to the manager.
-Participate in the steering committee or any other official representation for projects.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in IT Management or any other relevant field
-At least five years of experience in project management
-Bilingual (English and French), both written and spoken
-Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools
-Asset: project management certification (e.g., PMP, CSP)
-Asset: proficient with MS Project
