Our client is a top employer, and a leader in IT recruitment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter OR someone who recently graduated in a HR related field. They are looking for a Bilingual IT Recruiter to join them and work closely with a sales team. The candidate will coordinate recruitment activities, and maintain long-term relationships with its clients.

Territory: Greater Montreal

Work Place: Flex Hybrid (office, virtual)

Products/Services: IT recruitment contract placements

Salary: $45,000-$70,000 or more based on experience

Commissions/Bonus:

-1st $30k comm + base OTE
-2nd $50-100k comm + base OTE
-Top performing out of school recruiters can make $100k + in the 1st year

Car allowance: N/A

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed.

Functions:
-Collaborate with your clients to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews/build job descriptions.
-Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
-Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
-Drafts recruitment advertisements: posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
-Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
-Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers.
-Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
-Vets potential employees’ credentials.
-Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
-Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Development vs Maintenance: 100% Technical IT Recruitment and client’s management

Road vs Office: 0% vs 100%

Languages: English and French

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: N/A

Years’ of experience: Recently obtained bachelors in HR or relevant experience

Other requirements:

-Experience working in a recruitment agency is an asset
-Must have experience coordinating recruitment activities from A to Z, sourcing active and passive candidates in the IT or technical fields
-Must have the ability to build and maintain long-lasting relationships with your clients.

Transferable contacts: potential candidates in the IT or technical industry an asset

Transferable Knowledge:

-Knowledge of the technical outsourcing business
-Experience using numerous job boards, social media, LinkedIn, etc.
-Experience using an ATS
