Job description: Role and Responsibilities

The role we are offering you:
By joining the Digital Accelerator team, you will have the opportunity to lead on the delivery and quality of a product dedicated to elevating the pilots training experience; own the agile dev process from end to end with the team with a continuous improvement mindset and collaborate with a number of key stakeholders across the engineering and cybersecurity teams. Are you ready to:
Be accountable for the delivery and quality of a product
Align the cross functional team members on the priorities (maximize outcomes) Host all the ceremonies: Planning, Daily stand ups, Reviews and retrospectives (demos are done by the product manager)
Assist (and co-lead) the product manager for the planning session. Make sure other important concerns are taken into account: cybersecurity, compliance, technical debt, architecture issues, obsolescence, vulnerability management, etc..
Assist (collaborate) in the product backlog grooming
Own the sprint backlog
Owns the sprint metrics – reports on delivery performance metrics
Removes obstacles for the teams (and escalate to SW engineering manager as needed) , coordination with other teams (internal & external)
Team focus:
Assist the SW engineering manager in the hiring process
Onboard new members and coach the teams (culture, agility, product mindset..). Ensure that the team members have the right skills and proper training
Shield the teams against external interference (75% focus)
Manage team commitment, skills and capacity
Provide the team with regular feed-backs in collaboration with tech leaders
Process:
Work with SW eng managers, Head of architecture, cybersecurity lead in order to standardize the architecture, technology, tools used and best practices
Standardize backlogs, synch with other teams..
Refine metrics AND kpis for team efficiency, quality, etc
Reports on KPIs.
Owns the agile dev process from end to end with the team with a continuous improvement mindset. Make sure principles are respected, optimize the outcomes and escalate improvements and lessons learned from retrospective so we can synch with other teams.
Our ideal candidate has:
5 years experience as IT Scrum Master is a must-have
Experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a must-have
Experience leading the Agile Release Train (ART)
Deep knowledge of Agile and its methodologies.
Strong analytical, prioritization, and negotiating skills.
Problem solver mindset, growth mindset.
Deep knowledge in agility methodologies, understanding and experience with the software development workflow and product delivery.
Experience in Digital product delivery.
Ability to work with partners and providers.
Deep Experience with product and sprint planning exercise.
Comfort with business strategy, backlog, planning prioritization and tracking KPIs &metrics.
Ability to go deep on digital technology, trends, architectural questions, stack control points, roadmaps and managing the Digital Product Lifecycle.
Enable innovation through talented individuals, test-and-learn culture, innovation-oriented practices and organization.
Soft skills :
Strategic thinking, able to develop and communicate a product vision to different teams and stakeholders.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
Proactive, self-starter with excellent product management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal.
Comfortable challenging the status quo and questioning existing practices.
