Overview of The Role
The Master Data Maintenance Analyst is part of the Master Data Shared Services (MDSS) team. The Sr. Analyst is responsible for supporting all of Saputo divisions globally in ensuring all business data change requests are completed timely and with quality. This includes creations and updates of materials, customers, vendors, and financial core master. The role is key in ensuring daily operations runs smoothly and the completion of business projects that require master data support. In addition, this role supports all MDSS projects across MDSS as assigned; this includes business requirements, documentation, testing, training of the master data relevant tools. This is a business oriented role that requires the ability to understand how core master data impacts day-to-day business processes.
How You Will Make Contributions That Matter:
- Review business core master data change and ensure quality of the data and compliance with standards
- Identify business resource data training needs by assessing the quality of requests and identifying patterns
- Develop documentation and training materials to support business resources in their learning journey
- Deliver training to MDSS or business as required
- For all projects assigned, develop documentation, participate in testing, train assigned resources, and collaborate across MDSS and IT
- Understand and achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) as well as service level agreements
- Work with remote teams both business and IT across multiple geographies and time zones
As part of his duties, the incumbent will have to communicate and collaborate in English, both orally and in writing with colleagues or other stakeholders in Quebec as well as in the rest of Canada or in North America.
You Are Best Suited for The Role If You Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree business, MIS, or relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Master Data and SAP (Preferably in Finance Master and Material Master, Customer Master, Vendor Master)
- Knowledge of SAP tables, and how they relate to each other, highly desired.
- Understanding of how data is used within business processes and its impact on desired business outcomes
- MDG (Master Data Governance) tool experienced a plus
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Visio, Power Point
- Able to deliver/meet milestones based on project timelines
- Flexible with ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize
- Process oriented with pragmatic approach to getting work completed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple terms
- Ability to work and communicate across functions
- Focused, disciplined, organized
- Customer first mentality
- Team-player
- Bilingual English and French a plus; Spanish a plus
