What you’ll do:

You will liaison between the Corporate Finance Division, other Finance Divisions, and Innovation to develop and improve financial system processes in JDE Finance modules. You will lead a team of JDE Finance Business Analysts who are responsible for: the financial setup and ongoing maintenance of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environments, testing new financial interfaces or processes, working on various projects, and performing investigative work and resolution tasks when issues arise.

• You will execute highly complex, specialized work in designated Finance Solutions related to core ERP and supporting systems with broad guidelines to achieve department goals. You will oversee and take lead on highly complex processes for various projects, which may include architectural reviews, feasibility studies, impact assessments, and other technical investigation
• You will provide input and conclusive recommendations into strategic decisions by providing professional and technical expertise to stakeholders and participate in mid-term planning
• You will provide guidance and mentorship to more junior team members on project tasks and timelines to achieve prescribed objectives and lead preparation of documents that are required to obtain project approvals
• You will ensure that schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are met, lead projects within your discipline, develop strong relationships with other disciplines to meet business needs and recommend cost control measures and potential efficiencies
• You will lead research and analysis to determine best practices and trends to provide input into guidelines, procedures, and practice improvements to create better efficiencies.
• You will contribute to continuous improvement of the discipline by developing and implementing formalized processes and procedures to improve consistency and efficiency throughout the department

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Information Technology and:

• You have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Computer Science or equivalent experience and or certifications
• You have a minimum of 8+ years of combined experience. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
• Extensive knowledge of JDE Finance modules and JDE integrations with other systems is required
• Accounting designation preferred (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA)
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
