Make an impact with our Charitable Lotteries team as a Finance Clerk. This diverse team of professionals utilizes leading-edge industry knowledge to assist charity lotteries clients in managing their lottery programs. As a trusted advisor, you’ll identify, evaluate and manage risk exposure while protecting clients’ reputation and assets. Please note that this opportunity is a 5-day in office role.

Responsibilities
- Set-up accounting and financial reconciliation worksheets for multiple lottery campaigns
- Maintain, monitor and reconcile bank accounts, including but not limited to cash, bank reconciliations and point of sale (POS)/system uploads
- Reconcile ticket sales to bank statement deposits
- Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, discuss with supervisor or engagement partner and develop resolutions
- Work within customized software and Excel to support daily tasks
- Provide accurate and timely information to Customer Service Department regarding customer follow-ups, working within tight deadlines
- Assist with various financial related client queries
- Complete a variety of general accounting duties
Skills and Experience
- Post secondary degree or diploma with a concentration in Business Administration is considered an asset
- Minimum 1 year bookkeeping experience or related accounting experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to be licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
