The Benchmarking & Performance team is looking for a Manager that is ready to take on a challenging and unique opportunity to help contribute to the company’s financial reporting.

As a member of this team, you will be preparing consolidated financial and operational metrics related reporting for the CEO, CFO and other ELT members. You will interact with cross functional teams including the various business units (Wireless, Cable, Media, etc.)

We are looking for an individual that can leverage exceptional business acumen and apply themselves to this high-exposure role. The successful candidate will be expected to synthesize financial data into relevant analyses to support Executive decision-making. Strong technical (Excel/PowerPoint) skills are a desired asset, as the Manager will be looked upon to take current financial reports to the next level

What you’ll be doing:

  • Develop, maintain, and present rolling view of our performance against targets against important and changing business and market trends
  • Be a lead on industry research on market and subscriber trends
  • Support your business partners in short and long term planning by identifying, prioritizing, and communicating business risks and opportunities through strong financial analysis
  • Provide value steering analysis, communicate key trends, observations, and business impacts
  • Lead post implementation project reviews and assessments
  • Provide general assistance with ad hoc work as necessary

What you have:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
  • University Degree and accounting/finance designation (MBA/CPA/CMA/CGA/CA/CFA) is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines. Ability to multi-task and flexibility to work extended hours as required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Very high-level individual contributor with considerable independent judgment
