Job title: Manager – IT Application Engineering

Job description: Client-facing lead role responsible for the design, development and implementation of short and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems and applications infrastructure. Often involved in modifying or adapting existing designs. Reviews Technology requirements and business processes; codes, test, debugs and implements software solutions. Delivers Technology change within the business and to external clients.

Key Responsibilities:
● Manage, coach and allocate team resources, ensuring quality achievement of strategic information technology goals in a cost-efficient and timely manner while ensuring a healthy, productive and positive team environment
● Ensure project timeline is met, development effort remains on target, and deliverables meet project expectations within budgetary constraints and according to corporate quality standards
● Provide technical advice, high level design and solutions to project team to apply design principles and build software that is secure, scalable and reliable
● Ensure rapid resolution of production and operational issues
● Identify, recruit, develop, and retain a high performance team of professionals
