As the Manager, IT, you are the face of Information Technology (IT) at League providing easy-to-use, secure, scalable, and reliable technology solutions to support League’s hyper growth. You not only have the technical expertise to take on and provide technical leadership to IT solutions, but also manage a team of IT Engineers. You will build and maintain all existing platforms, manage projects, and communicate effectively to stakeholders. You bring an employee first mindset to new hires as they onboard, assist with the day to day needs of our current team to ensure an awesome employee experience as it relates to IT.
In this role, you will:
- Assist new hires and ensure a smooth onboarding experience as they join league
- Provide service to our team to ensure technology platforms, systems and equipment is working and being used
- Build, test & maintain office information technology infrastructure, including audio visual equipment and personal computers
- Proactively make recommendations to improve existing processes and make the internal IT service employee centric.
- Perform onboarding and offboarding for employee computer needs
- Respond to employee requests through a ticket tracking system
- Implement new features and core services in the League office infrastructure
- Adhere to all system operation policies including but not limited to Access Control, Encryption Control, Logging, Change Management, Platform Security, System Configuration, Physical and Incident Management policies
- Work with stakeholders to ensure their requirements are being met.
- Manage projects and communicate about status, risks, and details to the right audience
- Mentor and coach to increase engagement and maximize productivity of the team
- Manage vendors and assess quotes
About you:
- Experience with IT systems and infrastructure
- Strong experience with MacOS and or Unix operating systems
- Experience with G-suite or similar
- Experience with operating and troubleshooting audio visual and video conferencing equipment
- Experience managing local and remote personnel
- Experience delivering superior customer service
