About the Opportunity
- Preparing and reviewing monthly bank reconciliation for all entities including quarterly GL accounting reconciliations
- Reconciling General Ledger with Payroll and ensuring accurate journal entries are made
- Reviewing and adjusting any g/l entries made at month-end
- Overseeing Payroll Accounting team and providing guidance as necessary
- Building and maintaining excellent relations by investigating and resolving processing issues and concerns on a timely basis
- Providing assistance to internal and external auditors
- Assisting with accounting and financial control special projects as required
- Assisting with other accounting duties as required
About You
- CPA, CGA/CMA designation required (CPM Certification program would be a strong asset)
- 7+ years accounting and payroll experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role
- Proficient with payroll system administration: Ceridian Dayforce
- Expert knowledge of CRA payroll taxes, EI, and CPP calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay Rate
$50/hour
