Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Superintendent.

What you will do:

Carry out duties following Nutrien safety principles and priorities

Support all aspects of site safety systems, including LIFE, OHC, and SIF

Maintain knowledge of and comply with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Company Policies and Procedures, and laws and regulations

Supervise and provide direction to the Mine Maintenance Planners, Mine Maintenance Supervisors and Mine Maintenance Technicians

Actively promote and engage in continuous improvement of Mine Maintenance processes

Responsible for efficient execution of all Mine Maintenance activities to meet the needs of the mine

Participate in the development and of implementation of an asset management strategy that safely achieves production demand while maintaining or reducing maintenance costs

Responds to scheduled and unscheduled callouts to ensure normal business operations related to their area of responsibility

Collaboratively work with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to develop, support, and accomplish personal, team, and site goals

What you will bring:

7+ years of industry experience

Journeyperson, Technical diploma, or Engineering degree would be considered an asset

Ability to make complex decisions

High level of professionalism

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Excellent technical knowledge of maintenance, planning, and asset management

Good understanding of mining operations

Ability to create and work within high preforming teams
