Compass Digital Labs is looking for a product designer to join our platform product team to help us shape and grow a very exciting product. We are looking for someone who is obsessed with helping our Marketplace managers grow and scale their business so that they can focus on providing the best dining experiences for their customers. You will understand both our Marketplace dining guest experiences and operator process to identify opportunities to shape product experience and increase sales.

In this role you will work closely with our user research team, product and data intelligence to be a close partner with our cross functional teams to help influence the road map and product strategy. Our platform product serves as the main hub that connects many of our consumer and operator tools. You will be collaborating closely with other designers on other product teams to ensure our platform and products are scalable and align to consistent experience across our ecosystem.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Be a thought partner to product managers to support product definition and focus on right problems to solve
Articulate detailed user stories, participate in daily scrum rituals, and answer questions as the customer representative
Lead full end-to-end design from ideation, user flows, wireframes, high fidelity to final delivery of design files to engineering
Work closely with product manager developers and designers to execute on your vision
Facilitate design brainstorming sessions utilizing design frameworks
Utilize data through strong analytical skills, with the ability to draw meaningful conclusions from data sets
Contribute to planning and conducting usability testing

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

At least 3+ years of product design experience within an software development environment or agency/consultancy
A proven understanding of how Commerce platforms integrate with enterprise systems including CRM, ERP and CMS
An understanding of building for desktop and mobile applications
Experience articulating detailed user stories, participating in daily scrum
An understanding of basic project management principles and the ability to prioritize work based on greatest business impact.
Ability to conduct user interviews and research, as well as competitive research.
Conceptual understanding of web development and APIs
Strong appreciation for user design and user behaviors
Natural leadership, communication, and influence skills
Proficiency in Figma, JIRA, Confluence, Design Systems
