Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of project accounting experience or general accounting experience
- Intermediate to advanced excel skills
- Ability to meet deadline
- Accounting degree or equivalent experince is an asset
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrives in a collabrative team focused environment; adaptive and enthusastic about change
- Positive “can do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
Accountabilities:
- Accountable for monthly cost transfers from inventory to specific projects, recociliation and analysis; Deadline driven, focused on completeness and accuracy of report and variance analysis
- Posted month end journey entries
- Streamline process; Work with business partners to implement process changes
- Collaborate with business partners to gain insights of business activities impacting inventory valuations
- Responsible for project setups, changes, closures and capitalizations
- Reconcile inventory and project data; Analyze and investigate varaince
- Prepare monthly reconciliation working paper and analysis
